COVID Response

Pool Update

The Chestnut Creek HOA Board would like to give an update regarding the pool opening plans and guidelines. Our first goal, as always, is the safety of our membership.

Pool Guidelines

  • NEW COVID-19 waiver must be signed to activate all key cards
  • Personal responsibility and common sense supersede any amount of planning. Please follow the CDC guidelines for your specific family situation.
  • Lifeguard – Should be in place closer to May 30. For now, it is SAYOR (swim at your own risk).
  • No Guests Allowed – Chestnut Creek Residents in good standing (2020 dues have been paid) can use the pool.
  • BYOC – At this time, pool chairs will be “locked up” so no one must maintain cleaning them. Please bring your own chair(s).
  • Cleaning Supplies – Wipes and hand sanitizer will be in each bathroom. Please leave them there so your fellow neighbors can use them.
  • Chlorine in the Pool – The Board is contacting the pool cleaning company to get in written form, exactly how/when the pool will be maintained.
  • Signage – Social distancing and hand washing signage will be posted throughout the pool grounds.
  • All other county guidelines will be followed to the best of our ability.
  • Fine Print: Please note that the pool does not have full time staff, therefore, aside from ensuring the pool water is maintained, signage is visible and cleaning supplies are provided, within reason, only your family can decide you feel safe and will use the pool this summer. The Board, like every other family here, also wants to be safe, be neighborly and be consciousness about our community. Thank you for your patience during this unusual time.

*Since this is an evolving situation and county guidelines may change, we will update the pool guidelines accordingly.
